Greetings! This morning I am making some muffins from two different Augason Farm’s mixes and though it might be nice to share how I do it with you. I actually use the directions on the can, but I make them bakery style by adding some nice topping to make the muffins really yummy! Food storage doesn’t have to be all about MRE’s and dehydrated meat. It can be whatever you want it to be. Do what you family loves. Learn to can and dehydrate and adapt your family’s favorite recipes to your food storage. Introduce new items so that if the time ever comes that you need to use what you have put back, your family will be used to those foods. For instance, we have beans and rice on a regular basis and we all enjoy them. We also use this muffin mix fairly regularly because it is quick, easy and delicious.
